side decals & hood emblems

I swear I posted a reply on here yesterday but can't find it.. oh well.

Regarding the proper NEGATIVE side stripes, last year I was shopping for a replacement set, I think AA (***********) may sell the proper ones. I didn't end up getting them but they were around $26.

Here's my '74 914, 5-bolt Fuchs make the bone stock (plus: hydraulic lifters w/stock grind Web Cam) L-Jet injected 1.8 go faster!



Gold hood crest and gold letters on the engine lid, negative stripes, and Mazda Miata Blaze Red paint (a Japanese color???? what was I thinking 10 years ago!).

It's a cruiser, 10 years on the restoration, just more wrinkes on my face from the ****-eating-grin while driving it on a sunny day with the top off!

darrel d where did you get that decal thats the one i'm looking for i saw one on ebay but i think that its the wrong size ive seen a bunch online normal reverse but not like the one you got
know of a place where i can get them?

I found mine way back when at Performance Products but I see they don't offer them anymore, probably due to a trademark lawsuit. I've seen some around at various graphics vendors, let me look around.

thanks alot also could you please post some pics of the willys 44' jeep "dream car" (dont ask i love the military) by the way i saw a willys jeep that had 500 miles on it all original paint and the 500 miles started on D-day on omaha beach (had papers to prove it too)saw it on ebay for around 40 grand (im still drooling)

by the way those decals are the only ones that i want if anybody else can find them please post

well if you or anyone else cant find the decals i'll pay ya if you could trace the side of the car with trace paper id use the other decals but they just dont look right

Porsche Decals and Auto Atlanta but try the Porsche Decals first.

nope gt racing porsche decals and others dont have the same decal if AA has them they might make a mistake and send me the wrong ones

Well I got mine from AA. But on the originals the "Porsche" fits on the door. Unlike the AA decals where the "Porsche" is just a little bit long. It is kind of like the 911 porsche decal. Just my two cents. Either way you can't go wrong, well maybe.
