Heat flapper box
Is there difference between the right and left flapper box on the exhaust system? And if so what is really the diffrence?

There is a difference. The control arm for each need to be facing each other inboard so the cable can connect correctly.

The control arms rotate--it's not so they face inboard, it's so the control arm on the flapper comes out of the top or the bottom of the valve.
A curious thing--on my car, the cables are the wrong length if you use one left valve and one right valve. There were two right-side (?? left side??) valves on it when I bought the car, and that's the way the cables fit the best. So I have one control arm coming out the top of the valve, and one coming out the bottom. --DD

Interesting what you said Dave cause I appear to have two of the same side flapper boxes, cause one arm is on top the other on bottom so I guess next step is to run the cables and see it it will hook up ok.
Thanks

I have two of the same side flappers also. Won one on ebay, and they sent the wrong one. I was to lazy to complain, so I just flipped it. If the cable doesn't fit, I used a brake cable from a tandem bike, from my local bike shop. Was longer than I needed, so I just snipped the end. Cheap and easy solution.
