914-6 megaphone hangers

I've posted this a few times now and everyone tells me to call George at European Racing Headers. So i've tried calling him for a couple weeks now and still haven't been able to get ahold of him. Does anyone know of any other places that sell megaphone hangers/brackets that would suit my application. My car has 12" megaphones on it currently. I have my first race in a couple weeks and would prefer to run my megaphones if possible. Any suggestions for making my own bracket (can't be time consuming as I am wrapping up my final semester in college and I do not have much time at all)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I had to make one, I'd say get a piece of 1 inch 6061t6 aluminum tube about 3 to 4 feet long. Mark the center and then measure and drill the two holes for the studs on the rear of the tranny. An inch or two to the side of each hole bend the tube down so it goes right beside each stinger. Cut the tube so it goes just past the exhaust stinger and then drill a couple of holes so you can hook a spring or two around the exhaust stinger and hold the two pieces together. I was lucky, my pipes came with a bracket. Good luck

The super Traps look great. How loud are they? How loud do you think they would be on a 2.0L 4. Where could I get some?
Thanks
Mark

Not exactly sure how to describe how the muffler bracket looks. Maybe someone might have a picture of one???

PP does not sell Super Trapps (AFAIK). Racerpartswholesale.com sells them. The sound of the exhaust depends on the amount of disk that you install on the ends of the exhaust. The system above has a set of custom pipes and cross over pipe btwn the headers and the Super Trapps.

The 2.0 muffler hanger looks like a boomerang, with two holes near the "angle" where the studs on the transmission go. There are also two notches at the ends which the two innermost bolts for the two muffler flanges go through. It is a flat plate, but the middle of each "wing" has an oblong-shaped "bubble" in it, likely to provide some stiffness.

They are NLA new as far as I know, but are available used.
