34 ICT input

Any opinions on 34 ICT setup for a calif '76 2.0. Can they be made to run lean enough to pass emissions NOT in Calif?

My FI has problems, will eventually get it fixed I guess, but need to get my 'new' car driveable for a while at least!

43 ICT seems the most economical way to go for now....

Part of the California smog inspection is a visual inspection. Carbs == automatic failure, plus listing as a "GROSS POLLUTER" for having a "tampered" emissions system.

Gotta have the stock EFI and exhaust. You may need the smog pump and the catalytic converter--not sure on that...

Then you have to figure out exactly what the standards are that you are trying to pass. Likely your DMV or equivalent is the place to look for those.
