Roll Bar trim

What is the secret to removing the aluminum trim piece across the top of the roll bar? As this piece costs about a begillion dollars I would prefer to take a more modest approach than my usual methods of removing things.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

Hi Bob,
The trim is held on by clips. You first remove the side moldings (exposing the open ends of the top molding( then carefully pry it off of the car. I used the rubber cover handle of my needle nose pliers. One note, the clips that hold it on slide inside the molding and (in my case) are easily lost. Just be careful and you will be fine.
