VW Type 1 Bus tranny question
Question for the people out there.
As far as i know, the bolt pattern is the same as the 901, therefore, you could bolt up a 2.7 911 motor. What I need to know is what sort of a flywheel/clutch would i need? Yes i am aware that i should change the gear ratios. |

I don't know the answer, but just fyi:
The Kennedy 1700# clutch has about the same grip as a heavy-duty Bus clutch, and both of those clutches are rated for up to 140 flywheel hp. That isn't good enough for a 2.7, obviously. How many flywheel hp will you have? |
