Yes, the swivel feet are nice especially if you go to SS valves. You do have to modify things to get them to fit.

Use only the Porsche ones as the aftermarket ones suck and wear out instantly.

You will need 70-72 rocker arms for this; the later ones take a lug that is too large. (Some 73s also have the small hole. I think it is M8.) You will need to remove some of the part of the rocker arm that the adjuster threads through--the part closest to the valve tip. The swivel foot on the 911 adjuster needs significantly more room than the stock part does.

Finally, you will need to do one or both of the following:
- Make a custom shorter-length pushrod
- Shim the rocker stand

You will drastically change the rocker arm geometry when you go to the 911 adjuster, and you will need to fiddle with things so that the adjuster is pretty close to parallel with the valve stem when the rocker is at half lift. Not doing so will put extra stress on the valves, guides, and so on. A Google search on "valve train geometry" will likely turn up something. Or a search over on http://www.shoptalkforums.com , in their "Type 4um". Someone recently posted a link over there describing the process.

You need the 1.7 rockers. You will then need to remove some material from the rocker threaded area to allow the 911 adjuster room to fit.
Its simple and straight forward. There is a draw back in that the 911 screws use a Straight blade screwdriver and there isnt much room for it in the 914.
I have used the Speed Unlimted adjusters they use an Allen wrench but they are NLA.

These adjusters are almost a must, we use them on every engine we build..

I have the rockers with all mods made and ready to go with the screws..
