What else do you got?

Okay, kinda a survey here. I was just thinking it would be interesting to see what else everyone owns...

I got the following
1998 Ford Explorer (V6 Unknown size)
2000 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L
1973 Porsche 914 2.0L
1994 Yamaha XT600 Dual Sport Motercycle

I'll play...

'72 914 2.0
'72 911S
'66 Shelby GT 350 (hopefully sold)
'52 MGTD
'66 912 (in pieces)
'74 XJ12L (Chevy 383 conversion)
'92 Isuzu Rodeo (Daily driver)
'00 Yeti ASR mountain bike

Fun toys, but my 56 year old Mom can out run them all in her Audi TT - VERY fun toy.

I really want to buy one of the 250 GT California kit cars built by Precision Design. It is the car featured in Ferris Beuler's Day Off - very cool - or maybe a 550 Spyder kit. They also look like they would be really fun to build. Closest I'll ever be to owning a "new" car!

Count me in, starting with the newest addition. 2000 Nissan Xterra, Truck like ride but who cares! It's cool and and a bargin compared to it's competitors. 1991 Isuzu trooper V6 5sp 4wd, 160,000 miles and still running strong. 1984 BMW 533I, Work car, and I drive alot in my job 190,000 mi. and climbing. 1977 BMW 530I, Just bought the 1977 530I to replace my work car (just in case) Solid nice car. Soon to have the 4sp to 5sp conversion,M535 front and rear spoilers, lowered springs, and a few other tricks. 1976 BMW 2002 solid project car, 1972 Porsche 914\928-S motor conversion dubbed 918-S next summers cruiser, 1971 BMW 2002 Gruppe 5 look, Around here we call it
OH TOO Wild, Two 1957 Oval window Beetles. Ones a slide back rag top future project on a 1971 pan, with a glass front clip lowered beam. I have a 2.0L type 4 motor for it. The other oval is pretty much a roof donor if you know what I mean.

Oh, sure--I'll chime in.

1974 914 2.0
1990 Honda CRX si

As you can tell, I have a fondness for small, lightweight fun-to-drive two seaters.

The CRX is a pretty nice little car, even if it is a front-driver.

Daily drive is a 2000 Montero Sport. Got my '76 914 back in December after selling my '97 Honda 125 shifter kart. Bought the Porsche for the kart money plus $200. Pretty sweet deal, eh? The 'teener handles alot like the kart but is obviously more practical. I had to tow the kart on a trailer for 3 hours and then pay entry fees to drive short stints on a track.

And technically I own my teenage sons' cars so add:

(If I could just get them to pay their own insurance I could afford that restored 914-6!)

Short but sweet...
73 914 2.0
70 911E Targa
00 Jeep Grand Cherokee (wife's ride mostly)
Two project cars are more than plenty for now, but hoping for a new daily ride and maybe a new-old project as well in 2001...either a 914/6 or a 72-73 911RS clone are tops on the project list.

'89 Isuzu pick-up

on a side note: i hit a deer with my truck about 8 months ago causing a good sized dent in my bumper, broken grill and a busted light. Its funny cause I'm finding it so hard to bite the bullet and spend a couple hundred to get that fixed, but I'll drop a grand on my 2.0 w/o hesitation. I'm pretty sure my truck is jealous
