Rear Sway Bar Upside Down??
Can you install the stock rear sway bar physically upside down? I've noticed, on the bar that I have, the portion of the bar that runs from the rear trunk bushings to the droplinks, have a slight arc to them. You can see it in this Pelican photo. I originally had the bar installed so the arc was going the other ways..then noticed this photo so I uninstalled the bar. I'm about ready to put it back in now.
![]() Is there a right and wrong way to install this? Last edited by RustyWa; 02-10-2005 at 11:38 AM.. |

we actually run it "upside down" on the race-cars. if your car is too low, the stock setup will hit the trunk floor. that's why we switch them around. works just fine ... ![]()

Ok..so if I understand correctly, the photo shows the factory "intended" install, arc "down". If your car is lowered..you could flip it the other way so the top of the arc would be facing "up".
Thanks |

Don't EL BUMPO, please. It wasn't far enough down in the order to warrant one.
The implication is pretty clear--arc UP if you've got a lowered car. --DD
