Question 911 oil combo guage wiring help

I have the guage in the car and the temp side is wired.
It's the pressure and idjit light that I need help with.

New wires are run from the senders to the guage.
What wire goes where?
I have four wires. One off the idiot sender and three off the pressure sender.

Help me help myself.

KT

show me your pressure sender ...

the idiot light is a separate sender. the pressure sender should only have 2 wires max. if it has 2 wires on top, it's a dual sender, one side for the gauge, the other for the idiot light.
in which case one of the 2 idiot light senders would be redundand ...

KT,
Hopefully this will help.
A Oil Pressure gauge
1) Red/White wire to the "+" terminal. This wire also goes to the Gen. idiot light and to the Oil Temp Gauge (I will call it the RW wire) and to some of the other gauges. It is a + 12v supply wire.
2) Green/Red wire to the "G" terminal. This wire comes from your engine sensors.

B Oil Temp Gauge
1) Green with Black bars to the "G" terminal. This wire comes from your engine sensors
2) The RW wire to the "+" terminal

Generator Idiot Light
1) A blue wire to the side terminal. Comes from alternator
2) The RW wire to the center terminal.
Please note that the wattage rating on the generator idiot light is important. I think it is a 4 watt bulb but check your manual. (Larger then some of the other bulbs) If you don't use the proper wattage bulb, the bulb will remain lite all the time.
Brake Light
1) A Black/White/Green wire to one of the terminals.
2) Two brown wires with yellow stripes to the second terminal.

Instrument Lighting bulb
Black/Blue wire which also goes to other gauges This is a variable voltage wire tied into the light dimmer reostat on your headlight switch.

Grounding
A plain brown ground wire goes to three grounding lugs on the back of the sheet metal housing and also goes to other gauges.

Good luck with your wiring job. Lyle

Here's the senders. The wiring is new, goes through a loom, into the tunnel and comes out behind the guage.

Thanks for your help, KT

That is someone's hacked-up mess, there. Throw it away and get the correct senders, Trekkor. There should be two senders, each of which only has one wire, and they live in different locations on the engine. I believe the pressure sender for the gauge is toward the front (fan end) of the engine, while the light sender is toward the back (flywheel end) of the engine.

The one by the fan is Temp.
Pressure and idiot light sender flywheel end. On an early six that is.
