1974 914-4 Rewire

Installing the new blade fuse kits and because of the OLD existing wires, decided to re-wire the WHOLE CAR. My problem area seems to be with the Ignition and Seat Belt Warning system block under the passengers seat. The system has not worked for years and I decided to eliminate the BLOCK and ALL the un-used wires. First is a picture of how the system use to look.

The next picture is of how I re-wired the Ignition/Seat Belt Warning System. I don't need the Seatbelt warning light to work but I will need the Ignition to work, How do I re-connect the wires or install jumpers???

I know that the 4mm diameter big yellow wire you have marked "from starter"connects to the yellow ignition wire marked C. Both are 4mm diameter and carry a lot of juice. I am sorry but I don't know about the rest of the wires.

Jumper the two fat yellow wires together. Nothing else is needed or wanted; do not hook up the oil pressure light to that circuit!! Leave the rest unhooked, or if you really want to get rid of the relay socket you can cut off the wires that go to it, and splice together all wires that were crimped into a single connector (e.g., splice the two green/red wires together).

That's it.
