Bad miss in left turns only...help!!!

I got this car a week ago and she ran perfectly. 70,000 orig miles. I had to drive 'er home in pouring rain and since then she has a bad miss especially when going thru left turns. Very strange. On straights and right turns it is almost un noticeable.
Very bad when turning thru left turns. Any ideas? It's stock 2 ltr injected points not electronic.
Thanks!

My relay box was bad, and I had a similar symptom.. although, I reterminated every wire in my harness too..

Check all spark wires, check harness, check CHT wire, check relay box.

The fuel pickup is on the right side of the tank. Check fuel filter (depending on year) that should preceed the pump. Also, take a look into the tank too.

We also need more details, year, FI system, etc.

Since the 914 was in the rain, check for a cracked dizzy cap.

This is a stock original '74 914 2 ltr. fuel injected. Black coil...not electronic ignition. I checked the coil for mounting tightness and wires connected tight....Good. checked the FI connectors...Good. What is the "dizzy cap"?

distributor cap..

Look at all the wires that terminate at the rear of the throttle body (white mishmash)

Did you check the CHT wire? CYL 3, rear passenger. Also I saw Brad mention the AAR wire.. disco the AAR wire, and try that for a bit...

At least clean all the relays, and the sockets (*battery disconectededed)..

Check the wiring to/from the coil. My car's main coil wire's insulation wore off (burned) in a spot so when I went up a hill the wire bounced up and down and grounded against the block and firing went askew.
