Angry i found under body rust is it bad???

1 longitudinal is ok the other has a bit of rust on it and a small to mid sized hole in the middle of it the floor panels were coated and there are 2 small 1 inch by 1/2 inch holes starting not all that bad

i found a rear floor board for 200 and longitudinals 180 each
1. are these good prices and
2. is it going to cost me a hell of alot of money to get it fixed[IMG]"C:\Documents and Settings\Spec Ops\Desktop\New Folder\6b_3.jpg"[/IMG]



thats the car new paint and new german vinal i got for 3,300
'73 1.7 i guess its a good price but should i sell the car since it has this much rust on it or is it ok and fixable

going to collage soon and got me another car besides this one

Sounds a bit pricey for the longs, assuming you are talking used. You didn't say. Look at the Pelican sheet metal area and study the 'clamshell.' Might be all you need. It ain't no $180.

if you look under the car between the jackpoint and rear wheel wall that triangular piece it the longitudinal right?

clam shell? plus for some odd reason the jack point sticks out half an inch on theleft side

The longitudinal runs from the rear wheel well all the way to the front wheel well. There are more parts that cover the areas of that assembly that make the turn and head upward toward the rear shock mount. Check the pics on the page linked above (click where it says "pic") to see what parts you may need. Keep in mind that it is very likely that there is more Bad Stuff hiding that you have not found yet.
