My 914-6 project
Hi guys
just thought I'd introduce myself - I am nearly at the end of my 914-6 GT replica project here in the (for the moment) sunny UK! The car is fitted with a 2.7 motor on Webers which put out 225hp when I bought it, front mounted oil cooler, 930 front and rear brakes, lightweight interior etc... Just at the end stages now - trying to get the tacho to work and then just the emergency brake set up. Looking forward to some track time soon ![]() |

Yeah what he said. (pictures)
Hello Ian (James here) I'd love to see your car when its finished, or when its drive-able -I keep saying mine will never be finished, there'll always be something to fidle with. What spark unit are you using -is it this thats giving the tacho problems? |

I am using the 3 pin CDI system that came with the engine.
No problem re you seeing the car - whenever you are over the bridge give me a call / drop me an email - always good to see other 14 owners. |

BTW, we love pictures! If you hit the "Post Reply" button instead of using the "Quick Reply" pane at the bottom of the page, you will find a link that lets you upload pics. Low-ish resolution ones (e.g., 800x600) seem to work best; a number of people have had problems uploading the larger images.
Welcome to the BBS! --DD
