PO rust patch over
The PO of my 914 did something a little strange, the battary tray seems to have been replaced(And he said he did...), but inside the fender, there is a small hole and I see, big surpise, rust. Looks like the bat. tray was replaced without fixing anything else. Anyone got sugestions?

Inside wheel well, looking to bat
 looking at bat tray   So the question is what should I do? I have some spray stuff that the paint shop recomended to stop rust, and I could paint over later. I don't want to remove the battary tray, but want to get some second opinions on what I should do. Any way to get a spray head in there without removing the battary tray and maby ensure that I got it all? |

That is a common problem with these cars. To do a proper repair I 'd order a new inner fender piece and strip the paint and reinforce the fender, POR15 both sides and repaint.
