No response to this one on the Rennlist...
I have the 911 front end on one of the teeners. I would assume that the alignment specs are the same as they would be for the normal 914 front end... but rather than assume, I thought I would ask if there is some oddity that makes the alignment specs change. Also looking for a decent alignment shop in and around Santa Clarita, CA that might now about 914's - Dave |

Use your regular 914 specs.
Near-max caster, a little toe-in on both ends. Something in the range of 0 to 2 degrees negative camber on the front, and a half-degree more negative camber on the rear. More negative camber will help your turning traction, but can start chewing up tires somewhat. Too much can hurt accelerating or braking traction. I personally think about 1 degree front and 1.5 rear is a good compromise, but I tend to drive pretty hard even on the street. --DD |
