Post Attn:Eat-um-up, Something you need to check....

Hello James,

I'm no expert, but when I was checking out your pics in the "Owners Cars" section Wayne referred to on the BBS, I noticed something strange about your carb linkage. It appears to be backwards (someone please verify), and in a terrible bind. I had the same hexbar linkage on my '75 which I have since sold (the carbs, and linkage)so I don't have a picture to show you for reference, but I'd try to find one. If I remember correctly, the "bar" and the "bar support brackets" were mounted on the rear/inboard side of the carbs, and the adjustable links connected to the carbs ended up pretty much parallel to the "bar". If your present set-up doesn't stick on you, it will most certainly damage the throttle shaft bearing surfaces. Just thought you would want to know.

P.S.-- nice looking "Teen"!

Kevin
