Post any tips on rebuilding relay boards??

I'm rebuilding my relay board. I've already got most of the tar off the bottom. I'm going to soak it in solvent tonight to get the rest off. is there anything special I should know before I start rebuilding this.???

I used several Dremel wire brushes on key contacts (look athe wiring diagram and don't waste time with un-used circuts).

Then I used a drill bit to clean out the insides of the relay sockets and the rivets underneigh the board.

Then I soldered all the riveted connections that were used.

Boat epoxy works to seal it but there are probably better ideas.

Scott, here's a series of postings that describe how to do it:

Before you proceed, did you verify that you have an open trace?
