Wiring at the horns on 75 914
Like a Dummy (call me Lamont Sandfer) I forgot to mark the Horn wires on my 75 914 when I tore the car down. Now it is repainted and I am putting it back together, and was wonderering if someone could help me out on the correct wiring on the horns.
Each horn has 2 lugs. Which color wire goes where, or does it matter? Thanks, I appreciate your help Rob K |

Banned but not out, yet..

I am no expert, but really doubt it matters as long as you have a positive and a ground going to each side you should be good.

Check to see if either lug has a connection with the mounting bracket area. If so, that one should be your ground. Brown wire (with no stripe) == ground.

As far as I can tell, neither lug is tied to ground.

If that's the case, then it probably doesn't matter which way around the wires go.
