Cool Can you get A/C in 1 914-6?

I know that the A/C in 914's were dealer installed, but has anyone seen dealer installed (or owner for that matter) A/C installed in a 914-6?

Also, and I know this should go on the 914 classifieds page, but I (finally) pulled my pristine 914-6 engine back from Michigan and am interested in selling it. I'm most interested in selling it as a package, and I can't really think of anything major that I'm missing to complete a 914-6 conversion.

Anyhow, now that Wayne has hooked us up with the ability to include pictures in our posts, I thought I'd add my 914-6 pic. There are way lots of stuff not in the picture that would be included in the purchase, like the heat exchangers, oil tank, 914-6 axles, 914-6 stub axles, rear brake calipers (haven't been rebuilt yet), etc.

Give it a look see, somebody tell me if I'm off my rocker for asking $5500.

I looked at 1 in Ca that had dealer installed air - what a mess - didnt buy the car for that reason - the engine fire wall was poorly cut to accomadate the unit. Dont butcher a nice car!!!!

I know that Karl Johnson has AC on his 914/6. He has a 3.6L though. His car was in an old Excellence mag. Maybe you can try and get ahold of him.
