Answers for Brant re VRs
I had a p-mail from a "Brant" re my comments on stock Bosch VRs and Optima batteries. Dude - my reply to your e-mail address keeps getting bounced back to me. I've got the answers to your questions - what's up with your addy???
Some of the rest of the groups comments on the Optima battery thread also suggest problems with the incompatibility of old school VRs and newer battery construction. Bottom line is the OE VR will not allow a high enough voltage to charge the newer batteries, which need more than the OE VR will ever allow... |
