Question 2.0 Compression ratio and Performance

OK, Im using a "EA" 1.7L Block, 2.0L stock Crank, 94MM COFAP Pistons, 1.8L FI Heads, Can anyone out there tell me the compression ratio? How well will this combo perform with a Engle 2202 Cam(278 Duration and 410 Lift) and dual 44 Webbers?

To calculate compression ratio, we need 3 things:

*Cylinder head volume, measured in CC
*a measurement taken from TDC to the top of the cylinder, measured in thousandths of an inch
*The amount of "dish" in the top of the pistons, yours should be 7cc, if they are cofap..

Until we get this, there is no calculations that can be made..

I would SERIOUSLY think about adding that Engle cam to file 13, and grabbing a Web Cam!

If you have Microsoft Excel this is a nice spread sheet to figure compression.

I measured the dish on the Cofaps I had and it measured at 7cc.

Jake - you've made me feel really good about my purchasing a Web Cam instead of anything else. Question that I posted a while back with no definative answer; I have enlarged my inlet valves to 48mm and exhaust to 38mm. This will be on a 1.8 case, 2.0 crank and rods, 96mm 2.0 pistons and 1.8 heads. Did I screw up? I hear you are the 914 motor expert.
