914 hubcap

Hey guys, I have a question about hub caps, I have 3 original porsche style hub caps that came with the car, it looks like original equipment , they are the 5 spoke and the spokes are chrome, and I need a replacement, where can I get one? Ive done a quick check online and come up empty....

From your description, it sounds like you have a partial set of after market hub caps based on the Fuchs 5 spoke wheel, not OEM parts. These are not easily found, but you may try doing a search here or on e-Bay. Another source may be the many Porsche car show/swap meets that are held every year around the country.

As others said, post a picture. If it's a 2.0l 4 bolt Fuchs hubcap, I may be able to help. I recently came across half a dozen NOS ones. I sold 2 on Ebay and am keeping 4 for myself. That leaves me with 4 good used ones that I am willing to part with. I have no attachment to keeping them as a complete set and would sell you a single if it's what you need...

The original steel wheel hubcap looked like an old VW Beatle cap (without the VW center). What you have in this picture is an after market part which I have not seen elsewhere.

I've seen them a couple of times, on various cars. The best I can advise is for you to post a WTB in all of the 914-parts-for-sale places.
