I turned on the ignition and moved the butterfly by hand and heard nothing from the injectors..this must be the problem. Im concerned perhaps its not getting power or something in the engine is not grounded properly. I had to mount the ECU and Crane unit on a piece of sheet steel as I moved the battery to the front trunk (mount rusted away). Is the ECU grounded to the chassis somehow? Anway..im unsure on how to checkout the TPS and any help would be great.

The ECU itself, and the entire FI system, is only grounded through the three pairs of bare white wires at the grouped spare lug ring near the throttle body. Check those grounds, they are critical.
The TPS is fairly easy to check. Tun the ignition switch to the on position. Rotate the throttle valve slowly by hand and count the clicks. Listen for over 20 distinct clicks (don't remember exactly how many) which are the injectors firing. No clicks and something is dead somewhere. Check the grounds first. Paul Anders website has a series of tests and FI system diagnostics which can be referenced. |

If the fuel pump does its ~1.5 second "buzz" when you turn the key from off to on, then the ECU is getting power and at least some ground. The problem would be something else. I suggest you dig through Kjell's D-jet Guide http://www.914fan.net/djet.html and Brad Anders' D-jet page http://members.rennlist.com/pbanders for a while to see what may be going on.
