Availability of repair panels

I was looking through Pelican's body repair panel section and it seems most parts are currently not available. Is this something to be concerned about? Is it just bad timing or are these parts no longer being made?

Also, I love the look of this car. What year is it? Looks like it's lowered?

You can still find panels... i think There are places beyond pelican for 30+y/o parts.

The car in the pic is either a 1975 or '76 as noted by the large rubber "impact" bumpers. Yes, the car has been lowered as well. Replacement steering wheel and front turn signal lenses. Aftermarket reflector between the taillights too. Also front round side marker lights have been "shaved" off. Aftermarket rearview mirrors.

The Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers (AKA Big Black Beautiful Bumpers, depending on your point of view) give that away as a 75 or 76.

We carry a few OEM panels, but you have noticed they are pricey. Restoration Design manufactures aftermarket panels, and they're good quality. It can be very difficult to get ahold of them, though, and we had enough problems with it that we could not supply our customers in a timely enough fashion. Some folks have had luck in dealing with them directly (over the phone, generally), while others have had problems like we did.

Some of our competitors still carry RD parts. I don't know how (or if!!) they can ensure timely delivery of those parts, given the communications problems that frequently crop up.

Any some who deal directly with RD still have tons of problems...like waiting 4 weeks and watching a RD promised delivery date come and go, then wait another week, then call 5 times trying find out what is going on, only to find out the part hadn't been shipped and would be "a couple more days". Didn't wait and canceled order:/

HPH had the panel, sure it was $20 more but it was in stock and arrived when promised.

Actually, those bumpers don't look so bad on a black car. Still very heavy, though.
