75 914 2.0L exhaust

Will the 74 stainless steel aftermarket heat exchanger & muffler setup fit (without modification) my 75 2.0?

Yes, it should. The exhaust ports are the same between the 73-74 and 75-76 2.0s.

You will probably need to buy a muffler bracket (hangs off the end of the tranny, connects to the heat exchanger/muffler joint) from a 73-74 2.0 specifically. You may be able to adapt the 75-76 one to work; I'm not sure.

We need more information on this one. What muffler and exhaust was on the 74? Stock? 2.0? You can distinguish the 2.0 muffler in that it has a straight (not upward bent) run from the heads. They will lie flat on the ground. This put the 2.0 muffler lower or further away from the trunk floor. Heat problem I think. That's the reason the muffler hanger for a 1.7 or 1.8 will not work without modification.
