Different size hoods?
Were the front hoods all the same size for all the years that they made the 914? My car is a1974.
On my car it's 3/4 of an inch smaller than the cowel. It is over on one side so I have a half inch gap on one side. Other than filing out the bolt holes to move it more into the center I can't see how to solve the problem. If I did move it over it will interfere with the headlights setup. Any thoughts ???? My recollection is that yes they never changed the front trunk panel size. Pictures of your challenge would help.
Has the car ever been in an accident? perhaps its no longer "true".
