are these the right calipers for the bmw front brake upgrade???
i keep reading tech articles that have part #'s but they don't all match. I was thinking that some may be loaded brakes - and some may not - I want to buy a pair then add racing pads - so I need them 1/2 Loaded ????? what does loaded mean - that other word do parts places use for not-loaded ??? are there 3 options when it come to buying calipers ???? thanks for help - Scott in Savannah

These sound like they should work; you want the ATE calipers and not the Girling. Those are ATE, so they are probably good for it.
"Loaded" usually means that they have pins, clips, and probably pads. But people may use the term in different ways, so it's best to ask to make sure. No idea what "1/2 loaded" means. --DD

unless the part number is correct, the PICTURES show a floating caliper ! NOT a bolt on for the 914 upgrade AND the pics show an incomplete caliper anyway; the fixed portion on the BMW is re-used
