Shift boot connector (or not)
Another silly question: Is there suppose to be a part that holds the rubber shift boot to the carpet (underneath or over). My shift boot just sits there not connected to anything and I think it should be attached to something so it does not "wander" upwards. I cannot find any part to connect the shift boot online.

As far as I know there is no clamp that holds the boot down. So slip the bottom of the rubber boot under the carpet.

I ordered an OEM boot last night so I could do that. The current one is not OEM and pops out from under the carpet - shorter boot. Thanks.
