Something is very wrong

It started out this mourning on the way to work. The smell of oil in car with heater on.Very soon car had a lot of smoke inside.I stopped and looked around and very little oil on ground so drove to work with window down the smell of oil and smoke coming out of defroster and everywhere.Drove home and lost my brand new chuch I think would not go into gear at red light and no longer shift.Never did it smell like clutch. It was motor oil. Will have to have it tow to shop.Whats it sound like guys?

Sounds like an oil leak to me. Since the clutch went away it could be the rear mail seal, a gallery plug or a very bad leak on top of the engine that has caused oil to run down into the little opening at the rear of the engine where you can see the flywheel from. The oil soaked clutch generally means that the leak was from thr center of rotating mass and then outwards which is why the clutch got oil soaked and probably swelled badly.

An oil drip onto the top of the heat exchangers can cause quite a smell/smoke scenario and yet be hard to see on the ground.
