Who has the lowest or highest miles on their odo...

I was out cleaning the garage (and the teener) and I found a registation from 1982 showing my car was owned by a guy in San Matao CA. The car was registered with just over 26000 mi. I looked at my current odo reading and it's just over 38000 mi. Now that's not saying the speedo was working all the years the car was running. Oh ya, and that doesn't include all the miles I put on pushing it around with out the drive line.....(LOL)

I have an odometer with 00000 miles on it... It was a spare I bought (broken odometer) so I could figure out how to fix the odo. The wheels came out and bounced all over, so I just put them back in all 0's. I think the odometer now actually has about 200 miles listed...

It was in my car for a couple of weeks, to test my fix. Then I fixed the odometer that was in the car when I bought it, and swapped it back in. (The spare is an "early" one with the silver cone; the car was a 74 without the cone.) That was on my old 1.8.

Can you say worn out and put back on the road again. That is the story of my daily driver. Found next to barn in the Sierra's.
