Need some expert advice and direction. I pulled my seats and found rust thru behind both seats. I guess that is called the inside 5" firewall and it looks like water has been in the cross member. No issues so far in the foot wells.

The battery has caused this issue. This is a view from inside, about the passengers elbow.

I know I need to cut and weld. Is there a how-to out there somewhere? And where to buy?

Any other options?
