damn rust (snicker )
well i pulled the carpet, seats and back pad and found No rust, but i did find a 1 by 2 inch area under the drivers seat that was rusty
while at it i knew i had some rust in the rear trunk so i stripped the trunk and found lots of surface rust but no holes at all well i treated the surface rust and will be sealing it with hammerite then truck bed liner, i figure if water does get in there it will just puddle and cant get to the metal pics are attached and who says rust coast cars are rusty and my friend's car ( no names ) west coast car has lots of rust sorry ![]()

if you look at the lip around the trunk you'll see that unless you are trying to spray water in there with a hose its hard for much water to get in there. what really can cause a leak is the old 25 to 30 year gaskets on the tail light housings.
