914/6 Engine upgrades
With just changing P's and C's, what is the biggest displacement I can upgrade the stock 2.0 engine to?
James

Take a look at Bruce Anderson's book. Much better info than what I can give here. However, going to 2.2 is a standard upgrade.

Thanks Jim!
BTW, your cookie cutter looks better with rubber! I'm not used to swinging around those wheels without the added pounds of rubber. They are light! James

Hi, i am a member of what we called the French Canadian 914-6 conversion mafia, cause we are three guys (soon 4) who have converted to a six. Respectively:
2.2T 2.2E MFI 2.2T w/E-pistons and S-cams The latter engine is very fun to drive as you can REALLY feel the s-cams getting on at around 4k rpm. If you are rebuilding your engine, you could try that. Mean swapping pistons and cams for S-sibblings. Goos luck. Go see mine (url below)
