one small problem

in the middle of converting my 914 to carbs, something that i ran into that i didn't think about in advance is what to do with the extra vac advance line coming from my ditzy (i know if it has one line that it would run to the a vac port on my carb) If anyone knows where to put these or if i need another ditsy please give me some

one line on either side of the diaphragm and you can see my electronic ignition poking out below my rotor button

Generally the retard side is the only one used as it retards the advance so that it helps with emissions and to bring the engine to idle quicker. This may or may not help with carbs so you'll need to test the way the engine runs after the carbs are on it. On engines with two ports on the dash pot the advance side ( the one away from the rotor) the small tube can be plugged.
