Snubbers and lowering front end

I haven't set my front ride height yet as I haven't set the car on the ground to see what the new rear springs are going to do. But, it will be lower. When planning on running a lowered suspension do you need all of the snubber to protect the shock from bottoming out? Can you cut the snubber down by say, half?

Milt, Check the third question on the attached site. It might help with your question. http://www.tech-session.com/Paragon/Info/ask_dr_koni.htm

Thanks. When he says cut it down a bit, I wonder if he is cutting one knob off. I might do that for a start.
