Cal Coast Run
About a year ago there was an article in my newspaper regarding a relatively large run up 101. Any participants or anybody out there know anything about this? It had to have been alot of fun.

you may be referring to the R Gruppe meet in Cambria. They had a lot of cars coming from the Bay area and from So Cal caravaning to Cambria. We did it again this year and it was great!

Or perhaps it was the 914 owners club doing their annual trek

That "annual trek" hasn't happened in a couple of years... The 914 OA seems to be in "very low profile mode" right now. Not sure if Dennis is too swamped or what. As far as I know, the only thing that's still really going strong with them is their Yahoo Group e-mail list.

The Tacoma Sound News is the paper that ran an article in October of 2000 on the POA 2000 run. Lots of info about the owners and the 914 itself. Some nice color pics. Seems like an idea that other 914 owners in other areas. Such as the Pacific Northwest and Canada could implement into a standard event.
We do have top off weather up here. Only a quick drop of H2O when DD was up for our gathering in Monmouth, Oregon. Another gathering is scheduled for this coming Sat at 10:00 am in Beavercreek Oregon. Address 16052 S. Leland Rd. Beavercreek Oregon Cell # 503 577 3854. Near Oregon City and south of Gladstone.
