Of course, it give me hope that I could sell mine for that much....

Wow, Okay for 22G's I would buy a '79 911 Turbo! In fact buying and fixing up 914's is my chosen path to get a 911 turbo.

Plus his 13G paint job does not look as nice as my 2G one. Where do you get a 13G paint job? unless he figures in Rust removal and all.

But if I had the cash "911"... Man! I guess some people can dream...

For 13G, the paint had better be gold or Platinum and not be paint

If the car hasn't seen the sunlight since the pain job last year, how did he get the photos? Very realistic exterior set?

The prices on factory sixes do seem to be on the rise, but IMHO it might have been better to put some of that $13k into the 97k mile 32 year-old engine, but maybe that's just me....

I personally prefer a bit more go-power than the original 110 HP. Not sure why totally original engine is a good thing unless you are thinking only of dragging it around to concours on a trailer or something.

Love that color, in person Metallic Green is a stunner when it's all waxed and shiny.

You get 13k paint jobs when you live in the tree hugging EPA state of California where body shops are not welcome.

We (NorCal) people have seen this car in person, and I promise the pics dont do it justice. The body shop I'm partnered with regulary does 7-8k complete paints. This is EVERYTHING.

Check your local labor rates. We are in the 65$ an hour range for NorCal body shops.

Oh.. and where do you go for full paints ?? They charge so much because they dont want to do them. Shops make more money replacing a Honda fender in one day and having insurance money roll in. The last thing they want to do is tie up space for 8-10 months on a project car when they are used to rolling 20-25 cars a week.

You wanna see something really funny? Check out the dealer who put a $79,900 914-4 on the rennlist. One could buy a brand new 911 for that price. What a goober..
