how do install carpet in 914
have kit to install have do 356's before but never a 914 what goes in frist , second , 3rd and so on if ou have a phone # that would help thanks in advance or a drawing I could see

Carpeting
The 914 is actually quite easy. Remove the center console (if you have one), the seats (just slide them off the tracks, don't have to remove the tracks)the small console between the seats, and the back pad (two screws and the engine hatch release on the bottom need to be removed, then pull down and out at the bottom). Once those things are out of the way, you can start by installing the vinyl pieces around the center hump and in front of the seat. Follow that up by installing the center carpet piece and the outer longitudinals (you do need to remove the handbrake level and trim pieces). Finally finish up with the floor pieces and reinstall the previously removed items).
