Dtronic differences/simularities 914,bus type III

Can someone inform me if 1.7 914 throttlebodies/intake manifold runner diameter are smaller than a 2.0 or a 1.8 914s. Are bus type IV engines equipped with the same system as the porsche, how about the type III? Any enlightenment will be appreciated.

There may have been some Buses that were fitted with D-jet EFI, but I think the majority of injected Buses were L-jet.

The Type III used a very similar D-jet setup to the 914, but many of the parts were different. The ECU and the MPS were differently calibrated, for one thing.

There were D-jet 411s that used Type IV engines; they were pretty much identical to the 1.7 liter 914 stuff.

I'm not sure exactly what can be interchanged, frankly. That has never been my interest.

Type III d-jet is simular the throttle body is different (smaller), however the electrical board on the throttle body is identical to that of the 1.7 914, just mounted differently I belive the injectors might be interchangable with the 1.7 914 but I am not dead sure on that, as it has been a long while since I researched it, memory fades with time
