914-6 rear valance availability

Good morning! Anyone on here this morning tell me the availability of the steel rear valance for a 914-6? I was told around 26 yrs ago, that NOT available then! But any around now?

They occasionally come up on eBay and other sites but are in the $1,000 range. I originally wanted one just because my car came with one but realized I would never install it so I went with the later short valance.

Not a bad idea anyway. The deeper valance tends to hold warm air under the car; the shorter one lets more of it out which keeps the engine slightly cooler.

The 911 muffler tailpipe also fits the notch in the late valance. If you get the 914-6-only deep "porthole" valance, only the 914-6 mufflers (much less common and more $$ than the 911 ones) will fit.

I believe that the early 914-4 deep "porthole" valance and the 911 muffler fit each other, interestingly enough.
