lubrication for back-up light switch
sooo... I removed the backup light switch last night and some foul-smelling liquid leaked out.
I bought some new bullet connectors but they were about 1/2 the diameter of the original.. had to take a screwdriver to it and expand the width of the tips - now they fit perfectly... my question is.. what is the lubricant that leaked out? The parts store guy told me it was probably gear lube. Thanks! Rob. |
