You should probably be OK--just don't go too fast. Air flow going backwards at freeway speeds can sometimes push the windshield out of a 914, which is not going to make anyone very happy. I have also seen a roof come off being towed backwards. It might be worth using extra measures (rope? tape? other?) to make sure those don't go anywhere.

A few years ago with the wife's minivan. Take it slow and you should be ok.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

I towed one 500 miles that way. Did have the roof nearly come off and had a front caliper come off and lock up a front wheel. Can't explain why the caliper bolts would work out. Now I tow with rear wheels on the ground. Have to pull the axles which is not always an easy job. If you have an extra pair of stub axles they can be swapped out.

Iam mainly concerned with all the left and right hand turns I will be making with the steering wheel locked,..hate to see it go hard over either way ,...so tie it to the seat adjuster I guess...??? Thanks Frank

I know I've seen a tube engineered for connecting the 2 axles together just for this reason. Found it at Tangerine Racing Home
