Need month of build for my 914-6

Told by my builder that I need month of build to complete my VIN plate for restoration of 914-6. Can I derive this from VIN #, engine # and transmission#, all or which I have?

Any help appreciated.

Contact user djpateman. He has good records and can at least fairly decently correlate VINs and/or engine numbers to production dates.
