OW! Part 2
But this time it's from banging my head against the wall for an hour.
![]() So I got my new plug wires, cap, rotor from Pelican today and installed them. The wires were BERU brand, and did not seem to fit as snugly in the distributor cap as the old ones did, but I tried 'em anyway. The car started up and ran normally for about 30 seconds, then stalled and will not start now. I even switched the plug wires back to the old ones to see if that was it, no dice. When I turn it over the tach does not move at all any more, but all the lights come on, etc and everything else seems fine. Did I fry something? The coil maybe? I am giving up for the night, but any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks,

It's fine now!
I dunno what I did, but the SOB is running fine now. Must have been a loose connection or something.
Nothing worse than performing a simple task and it turns into a late-night swear-fest eh? I'm going to install the Pertronix today... pass the Maalox!
