Question of power
We have a 2056 with factory FI. My son bought a Sebring exhaust/muffler and it sounds really good but I think it is robbing power. The construction appears to greatly restrict the flow of exhaust gasses. It is a "four into one" collector, then to a muffler as opposed to a "four into the muffler" (stock 2.0). I am tempted to pull out the stock muffler and reattach but looking for some opinions first. My question is; would the stock set up yield better performance? Thanks.

I get the impression that the two are pretty close in power. Merging pipes is actually pretty important, especially when done correctly. So the four-two-one setup could be better than four-into-muffler.
In practice, though, I think it's mostly just louder. ![]() --DD
