Question Slight stutter when I am driving

Just noticed it today. I was going about 35-40mph. I was in 4th gear, about to move down to third, when i noticed a stutter. Felt like it was coming from the right side, maybe the rear. I was thinking it couyld be that I was getting my rpm's too low (I hadnt down shifted into third yet, and was only going 35). It doesn't happen when i am in third, or when I am speeding up, only at a consistant speed, around 35 0r 40, and the rpm's are around 2500 to 3000. Is this just the transmission saying it wants higher rpm's, or is this a rear wheekl bearing, cv joint...? thoughts appreciated.

Did it buck ??

Trigger points and/or pressure sensor can cause a bucking sensation.

35 mph in 4th. Most likely nothing. Keep driving it and if it does it again try and conduct some controlled experiments to see if it's a gear*rpm related issue or something more.

I tested it in my car tonight, Chris and all is well.
Could be the TPS is mal-adjusted or old for that stutter at 2500-3000rpm.
Or what is the timing set at? Is the distributor new/rebuilt? A worn dist also will cause problems like this.
