Wire problem...

I have been working off and on on a 72 1.7L motor for the last year. Finally putting everything back together, and I can't rember where to put the wire coming out of the dist. ? Just some back ground, it is a new Bosch 009 dist. with a new bosch coil (all bought from pelican!). If anyone could help I would apreciate it.

Ummmm, which wire?

I presume you have carbs, since you have a 009 dizzy. In that case, there are five wires on the distributor cap and one from the distributor body. (Possibly more if you have a Crane ignition or other non-points setup.)

I will assume you mean the one wire coming out of the distributor body, and that you have points.

The wire goes out of the distributor body, to the condensor on the side of the dizzy, and from there to the (-) terminal on the coil.
