What are these on my speedo?

New owner, warning. The attached photo is kind of poor, but maybe someone can tell me what the two small black circles are on my speedo. One is directly under the 3000 PRM marker between the 3 and the two triangles. (What are those triangles BTW?) The other black circle is to the right of the 4 and the light emblem.

Many thanks. Dan

Black dots on speedo

Mark, that's a good question. They do not light up. My 914 has an aftermarket instrumental cluster of 5 guages instead of the stock 3. Is this perhaps a 911 speedo and not a 914?

that is not your speedo , you'd be doing 5600mph at redline!! and that is a 914 tach, left 'arrows' is your turn signal indicator, the right one is the blue high beam indicator. Somewhat similar to a 911 (on a 911 it has 2 arrows for directional). Either they are not hooked up or your bulb is burnt out. Even if it is equipped with 5 gauges, these are still the location they would go. You also should have a similar running light indicator in your speedo.

I'm sorry...yes tach. The speedo is another issue.

My turn signal indicator light is in my oil pressure and my temperature gauge cluster to the left of my tach. It sounds like someone didn't hook up the connections properly.
thank you.
Dan
