Question Removing Padding Upper Roll Bar

What kind of screws are used to attached the Padding on the upper roll bar (9145520971) to the Targa roll bar? I can't see them in the holes and can't seem to get them started.

Thank you.

They are supposed to be phillips head screws. There was a bit of a mixed bag when I took mine off. I seem to remember they got sort of hung up when I was working on it too.

They should be Phillips head. It can be a pain to get the tip of the driver seated in the screw, though.

One of the screws on mine was too small, and would just spin. I ended up using a hemostat to grab it and pull it straight out.

I think Pelican has the little plugs for the holes, and there is a place that does refurbishment of them and the dash pads, Camp 914 maybe?

Not to hijack, but what is the correct size of the screws? I removed my pad but I know a PO has been in there. PET has no info.
